“Public service is the duty of all civil servants. Hence, they must have the mental to serve, instead of being served,” stated South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Tri Djoko, when opening the social service activity at Taman Honda, Tebet, Saturday (12/13).

According to him, one of the ways to strengthen the mental of civil servants in serving the people is through the implementation of social activities. Particularly in this activity, free medical check-up and aid are provided for 250 underprivileged people.

The medical check-up involves doctors from Tebet Sub-District Community Health Center (Puskesmas). No wonder, it received positive response from hundreds of local people.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Administration City Helper Inspectorate (Irbanko), Raun Sitanggang, informed that his party plans to hold free medical check-up at Honda Park every Sunday. Thus, the residents who do exercises can check their health condition afterwards.

“Not many people go to puskesmas on Sunday, so it is better to go to Honda Park before or after doing exercise to check their health,” he said.
